Deliveries and Returns
To guarantee a seamless experience, discover all you need to know about our delivery and returns process. This detailed guide promises straightforward and effortless transactions.
1. Delivery
Delivery is deemed as successful once the products have arrived at the address provided for delivery. We require a signature for all of our goods.
This signature may be done electronically or on paper, depending on the courier. We can leave goods at the designated address for a customer if they have confirmed to us in writing that we are able to do this. We will not be responsible for any loss that may occur if a customer request this.
The delivery of goods is to your “kerbside” or “doorstep” only unless previously confirmed in writing by us. It is your responsibility to ensure there is adequate access for us to deliver the goods.
Once delivered, the responsibility for the product is deemed to be the cardholders and any loss or damage to the product is then at your own risk.
The price stated for delivery can vary for different items, mostly dependent on size or weight. For areas such as the Scottish Highlands or the Southern Coast, a surcharge may be added on top of the normal delivery charge. If this is the case, we will contact you regarding this.
The company will not accept any liability for late delivery of the goods and delivery time is not contractual and can vary. Guidelines are given on our website. If there are lengthy lead times outside of these guidelines, we will contact you to advise of this.
The company will not accept liability for non delivery where the circumstances are out of our control e.g there is no clear/wide entrance to customers premises, customer is not present or any other circumstances in which we reserve the right to leave the unit outside. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that sizes of the units are checked and that we will be able to deliver.
If a delivery is refused, or no one is in to take the delivery and we have not received written confirmation that the goods are fine to be left , then a surcharge redelivery cost will occur.
2. Refunds and Returns
If you have changed your mind and wish to return the goods to us, you can do so within 7 days of the day of purchase. Goods must be in original packaging and unused in order to be returned. You have a statutory responsibility to take care of the goods you are returning. We reserve the right to bring action against you if you breach this statutory duty.
If the returned goods are damaged in transit, we reserve the right to recoup the costs from you. This will normally be deducted from your refund.
If the goods returned to us are not suitable for re-sale, we reserve the right to recoup the full amount from the purchaser who has returned the goods.
Bestronic Ltd will not be responsible for any damage caused in transit. We recommend you use a recorded delivery service with appropriate insurance.
If Customer will refuse and ask to take goods back during delivery day , Customer will be charged a 25% restocking charge against full order value.
We use a variety of couriers. We use large company couriers and we also support local drivers for more local orders. We will contact you to advise what firm will be delivering your goods closer to the time.
3. Warranties
Bestronic Ltd offers a 12 month warranty on parts and 3 months on labour with every unit purchased (light not included) (N.Ireland&Scotland parts only warranty)
Unnecessary call out will be charge to customer. No external engineer is to tamper with the units unless authorised with Bestronic. Call out period time may vary on how big of an emergency your call out is.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper assembly or use of the goods, improper transport of goods, repairs by unauthorised person and / or without prior agreement with Bestronic, mechanical damage and parts subject to natural wear.
If a problem is deemed, by Bestronic Ltd, to be due to wear and tear, wrong maintenance or misuse rather than a manufacturing fault, then charges may be made for rectification. However, if your unit is deemed faulty in anyway, this will be covered by your manufacturers guarantee (ask for details by brand).
Should there be any claim made by the customer in this regard, then their issue should be taken up with the manufacturer directly and not with Bestronic.
Complaints about the incompleteness of the delivered goods may be reported for a period of 7 days from the takeover of the goods by the customer. After this period, complaints regarding incomplete goods will not be accepted.
N.B. Glass and lights are not covered under our warranty policies for any of our goods.
